Forest View Lodge

Exceptional Room view, breakfast and supportive staff.

Room had lots of issues. The room heater didn’t work. Waters leaks inside the room and bedsheets were not clean at all.

We recently stayed at Forest View Lodge and had a fantastic experience! The cleanliness of the lodge was exceptional, with spotless rooms and a fresh, inviting ambiance throughout. The staff clearly takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene, which added to our comfort. The food was absolutely delicious – from dinner to the well-thought-out breakfast spread, everything was prepared to perfection. Breakfast offered a wonderful variety, catering to different tastes with fresh, tasty options. We felt truly looked after and would highly recommend Forest View Lodge for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with top-notch food and impeccable cleanliness

Great views from the room due to large windows. Comfortable and spacious.

Plumbing work has to be improved.

It is fairly cheap, but also you will find better value for money. Location on top of the pass if you are looking for that. Warm water was a plus. They apparently operate two lodges and i ended up in the adjacent one, which is in similar condition.

Nothing was cleaned, old bed sheets with holes, window not closing, broken window handles, worn out rugs, etc. Very loud structure, you hear every single noise, mediocre breakfast.

The caretake Vinith and Sathis were humble caretakers. They both did a good job in accommodating our request. Location was good and calm.

Bathroom doors cannot be locked and hot water not available all the time. Building needs a bit of refurbishment although it was quite nice place. Not all rooms have forest view.
