Elegant and spacious 2 bedroom

There was lots of room and the apartment was well set out. It was in a good location to get the northern line tube straight into London center..

The heating central heating didn't work and was replaced with small portable fan heaters. All the beds and furniture was old and very uncomfortable. The gas cooker was working but in poor condition. Extractor fan was broken. No smoke or carbon monoxide alarms which is total unacceptable and illegal especially given the gas combi boiler in the kitchen. Utensils and cooking equipment was useless at best.

Ripped and holey net curtains, other dirty curtains were on a wire, awful constant smell- especially from the fridge freezer,no smoke alarm (illegal)shaky toilet seat, no toiletries, mouldy, dirty paintwork - needs repainting. Only basic TV- not even catch up. Discarded freezer outside the property. Entrance - overgrown and dirty. The "garden" - broken fencing, no grass. No plug for sink or washing up bowl or tea towels. No small lamps in any room. Cigarette burns on the bedsettee

Host was very hospitable. Ours was a family of five and he attended all our concerns and was very helpful in making our stay comfortable. He pointed out local amenities and gave directions to places we needed to be. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful and safe location either for transit or as a quiet getaway.

No significant issue to complain about.

I loved the big kitchen and the fact that it was a very close distance to the nearest bus stop and underground station. The facility also had essential house hold item that were very useful for our use. Very considerate of the host.

The side of the house needs to be properly lighted, the shower rail needs to be changed and the grass by the entrances needs to be trimmed.

The location 15 meters from the local bus route to the Tube station is perfect. Able to travel easily in to Central London and return late at night. The last bus from the Tube to the apartment is 01:00. The apartment is well appointed if not a little rundown. Reminded me of student accommodation. Kitchen is large with table. Facilities were good but a dishwasher would be expected at this price range. Bedroom we large and beds/linen clean. Lounge has smart TV. Internet connection was very good.

300 pound security deposit was very steep. Plus it took them a few days to return it so that was a concern. Owner was a bit slow to respond to general queries but did help out when we had to call when the keybox got stuck. Owner should have a note on arrival explaining where the bus stop is and the number of the bus to catch to the Tube. That would have been a god send on the first morning!
