very dirty, dusty . could not tolerate more than 10mins being in the apartment the land lord refused to pay the money back

The house has no functional heater. The property owner bought small heaters, but that could only do a little as the water was extremely cold. We had to boil water for bathing. It was a horrible experience. The property owner did not tell us about the heating problem until we had arrived. He claimed the problem started a few days to our arrival. But never bothered to inform us. He gave us a discount but took it back when we had to book an extra day due to a flight delay. He treated us harshly when we needed to stay an extra day.

there wasn’t anything

The property especially the doors, plug sockets, walls and switches including the crockery and cutlery required a decent clean. Many of the sockets were damaged or didn't work. The boiler was off and no instructions for how to use it or sign of carbon monoxide test. We did get it on but noisy and clunky so weren't very confident so we kept it off. The net curtains were all chopped by hand at the bottom and settees worn and shabby. Only one lamp in the whole property. When asked by family who we were visiting how it was I described it as adequate and that was very generous. Bedding was clean and beds were comfy and we slept well. I don't enjoy not giving a favourable report but this really wasn't a fair description and was disappointing. Sorry but it's inaccurate to describe this property as elegant. I'm sure it has potential as the location was good but does need some money spending on it as was very unloved.
