The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. I would have liked to see more dinning options.

The resort is amazing, brand new , staff is friendly and helpful. They have restaurant on the water food is good, drinks are great, there is also a bar ny the pools and a restaurant by the pools. Close to alot of restaurants entertainment I cant say enough

Great property overall. Units are clean, parking is easy! Loved the unit kitched (very lightly stocked), window treatments (great blackout shades!), bidet toilet (fancy!). Funishings are tasteful and updated. The pool loungers are very dirty. Stained, dirt, and the light colored chairs are brown. The slide is inconsisently open, the towel card is a little annoying, access the beachside pool is limited. Restaurant is well located but limited food offerings. Beach access is leads to a small opening of sand - very underwhelming!

The resort is new (still in process of building) so everything is updated and clean, which is nice. The resort has minimal good views. There are no ocean views (ocean is across the road). The best views would be of the inside lawn areas. Our room view was of the parking lot. As the continue to add buildings I would anticipate ant good views would be even less. Our building required you to drive out of the resort to park - odd. Although the ocean is across the road, there really isn’t a beach. Front desk staff was not very helpful when checking in - we had to demand a new room as first one did not have working hot water in bathroom and had double beds (king was requested),

Liked that the property is new so it is clean and updated. However, there really are limited good views from the rooms - our room's view was the parking lot and as they continue expanding the property (building additional buildings) I think the good views will become even more limited. There is no ocean view as the ocean is across the street and they really is not a beach there

Check-in was not a good event/process. Some of the check in personnel were rude. Had to change rooms as the reservation was for a king room and we were put into a double room. First room did not have working hot water in bathroom. The resort has no beach. Ocean is across the road but no beach. Beach Club (bar/restaurant) was also across the road with limited hours - 3pm to 8pm. There are limited views on the resort. No beach views. Our room view was the parking lot.

Here is a quick list of pros/cons: We are NOT timeshare members and stayed here for a week. Top floor of building 6 Pros: -Rooms are very spacious with modern conveniences (charging pads, electronic curtain/blackout ability, the Japanese toilet!!) -The rooms are stocked with: laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, cups, dishes, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, baking sheet. A couple of tea bags, tea towels etc. -Suite includes: washed/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, fridge (with ice maker), wine fridge. BBQs are also available for use -The pools / hot tubs are lovely and well designed for privacy, 2 waterslides (one for Keiki’s) -The additional beachside pool/hot tub (across the street) is lovely and quiet and the views from the beachside restaurant are stunning -Nice that there is access to a TINY -private beach that’s easy to wade in (but currents can be strong here so water tends to be cloudy) -Welcome Mai tai drink after listening to short 10-15min blurb about their time share. Significant Hilton points if you sit in on the longer one. -Front desk staff, valet and beach towel attendants are all lovely. -There are courtesy “showers” that you can book on your last day to freshen up before hitting the airport. -balconies are very spacious with the ability to dine outside CONS: -Rooms are not cleaned for the duration of your stay (we were there almost a week). Though we were told you can request towels or additional cleaning supplies anytime -The water slide “attendant” works random hours with no explanation. Although the sign says the slide is open from 10-6pm (I believe). There were several times we went to use the slide (e.g 11am, 4pm etc) and the gate was closed. We waited for over 30 minutes and no one ever returned or explained why it wasn’t open. -would be lovely if the unit could have some packets of salt/pepper -based on the plans, they are heavily expanding the number of buildings and units. IMO there was a “perfect” number of people when we were there, I imagine it will feel crowded once the other buildings are complete and the occupancy increases. Not Hilton’s fault but while we were there, they had a horrible rainstorm which flooded out the road and so for most of our stay access to the beach side pool and restaurant wasn’t available. We would have loved to have a sunset drink down there. Never ate on site so can’t comment on the food but the “convenience shop” on site is not well stocked.

Very nice property and great staff that are quick to respond to any questions/concerns

Pros: Our two-bedroom suite was lovely with a quiet balcony, three large-screen TVs, black-out curtains, a Japanese style bathtub, and Toto Washlet heated toilet with bidet. We stayed in a two story building by the beach. The grounds are very peaceful. We appreciated that the pools were relatively uncrowded. The water slide is lots of fun! There is an activity room and a good fitness center. There are multiple gas grills with picnic tables outside of the rooms. We participated in yoga (Mon - Fri at 8 am) and aqua zumba. It was pretty easy to drive to other parts of Maui as the resort is fairly centrally located. The beach is quick hop, skip, and a jump across a two-lane road. The beach is an uncrowded narrow strip of sand sheltered from the road by a fore-down. We really enjoyed repeatedly walking a mile up the beach to a small shopping complex with a farmer's market, an ABC Market, the excellent Sugar Beach Bake Shop, and the amazing Ululani's Shave Ice. Unfortunately, the line gets very long at Ululani's, but the shave ice there is life changing. If you head out early, you might see the Kihea Canoe Club in their outriggers. They even offer the opportunity to paddle with them. In the opposite direction from the the ABC Market, and less than 1/2 a mile from the Hilton, there is the historically significant Kalepolepo Beach Park with an ancient Hawaiian fish pond that provides shelter for green sea turtles. The beach here is broader, and some people were splashing in the waves. This beach was also uncrowded. Cons: The restaurant, bar, and snack bar have limited hours, but the restaurant location is quiet picturesque. We actually never used them, and just prepared most of our food in the room. There are some other restaurants nearby. I wish there were foot wash stations outside of the buildings. There is a beach just across the street from the resort so we often needed to wash off sand. We had to request a broom to sweep out the room. The microwave door was sticky due to another guest not using it correctly. The washer and dryer were suffering from a surfeit of sand. If you want a lively and crowded resort theme, this is not the place. Head to the resorts by Kaanapali beach for that or even Wailea. Honestly, the crowds were rather overwhelming at the Kaanapali resorts. Great beach there, though. Not gonna lie. The Kihei beach is not a great beach for swimming. There is a brown line from churned up sand. This area was hit by a bad flood about a month ago and there are several submerged trees that were washed out to sea so I would stick close to the shoreline. We drove to several other beaches for swimming and boogie boarding including Wailea, Kaanapali, and Polo. South Kihei Road is pretty busy, but it was easy enough to cross this two-lane road, and the traffic noise was not bad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property itself is well maintained. The room was very clean and modern. The pools were great for family fun. The hotel is a few mintues drive to the heart of Kihei and is north enough to quickly get out to other parts of the island. Overall our 9 night stay was wonderful and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
