"Very enjoyable."

We were delightfully surprised on the cleanliness in the room. Bed was lovely and comfy, breakfast was lovely. Also surprised to find the train station was so close. Looking forward to booking a short weekend away again sometime, but for a little longer this time.

Absolutely lovely little break away with my father. The team working there were amazingly friendly. Food was good although I can’t comment on breakfast as my father doesn’t eat until around lunchtime. I love a full English. The sacrifices some of us have to make

Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse. Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar. The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English. I'd happily stay here again.

"A very comfortable and pleasant stay"

I arrived late in the evening and was stunned by the sight of the milky way. It was so dark, with negligible light pollution. In the distance I could hear Owls hooting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was not cramped. Bathroom fine with good water pressure for the shower. The breakfast was basic with an offering of cereals, orange juice and a full English. I stayed for one night only. Ideal for short stays. There is a railway line somewhere nearby but the noise from the trains is minimal and infrequent.

A more extensive breakfast offering would be appreciated. Maybe I missed something.
