"Our stay was pleasant and perfect for what we needed."

The breakfast was good and was served piping hot. The choice of bar snacks was good too. There was a list of outside vendors in the room so you could order food from other sources if you wanted.

The trains going past, because the hotel was right next to a railway line. However, the last train went past at just after 10.30 pm.

Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there. Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor person being sick

I have stayed at this B&B 3 or 4 times and it always meets my needs. Very comfortable bed, welcoming staff, good shower. It's a winner!

It's close to railway so you can hear trains but it's not loud and I actually don't mind it 😊

A great pub and the "budget" room felt more like a good quality room. Its location directly opposite the train station makes it perfect for anyone looking for a car free holiday or to have a day out where you can both stop for a lunchtime drink.

"Very relaxing, convenient and friendly"

Everything was catered for, even things I didn’t know I needed.

On Sunday there was no food available in the evening and I didn’t see anything that warned about this, which was a little disappointing as I was tired and had to drive elsewhere for my dinner.
