Duck Bay Hotel

A wonderfull hotel with great views over Loch Lomond. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, staff friendly, accommodation excellent. And all at a reasonable price.

We had stayed here previously and had an excellent experience however this time around the hotel experience was not so positive. The mattress in the bedroom was not fit for purpose and the next day housekeeping changed the mattress. The 2nd night a couple had an argument which did not let us sleep. Our room was a the front of the hotel hence all the young people were there in the early hours. We had 2 sleepless nights. We contacted head office on our return home and they have apologised but that’s all. We will not be returning to this particular hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant staff weren’t very attentive - our table was late and we weren’t asked if we wanted anymore drinks or condiments with our meal. Our room had a dirty teacup in it when we arrived and the pillows on the bed were very hard. We thought the hotel was overpriced.

I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels in the last few years and this one has the best view of them all. Absolutely fantastic location with a veranda right on the loch shore. Good restaurant and bar Missing a mini bar in the room though and lots of noise from room above

Stunning location, lovely room, excellent service. Food in restaurant was top class highly recommend.

The amount of rubbish left from BBQ’s and families eating was terrible. Felt a little unsafe with groups of males hanging around in groups.

Great stay at hotel. Staff so helpful and room was very clean. Restraunt food was very good too.

Lovely location, right on the banks of Loch Lomond. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small, but adequate for a one night stay. Good choice of breakfast. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening - varied menu, in a lovely setting looking out onto the loch.
