Duck Bay Hotel

Will definitely be booking another stay. Faultless, lovely location, clean rooms and general areas and very friendly helpful staff

I had booked this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived early so room was not ready. Checked in and was a bit disappointed as room was facing the car park. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival as it was a surprise birthday pressie. However asked if there was any rooms with a view of the loch. There was a surcharge of £40 or £60 which was a little disappointing and an unplanned spend. However we upgraded as it was a special occasion to a suite which had beautiful views of the loch. Room was initially freezing and took hours to heat up but worth it.

Was a great wee stay staff couldnt have been more friendly, resturant staff in particular had great attention to detail cleaning between covers . Plus very professionally dealt with a difficult situation with other guests.

We had a fabulous stay at Duck Bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, delivered excellent service at all times. We loved our room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with fantastic views down the length of Loch Lomond towards Ben Lomond. The food was tremendous and good value. A fantastic experience all round.

We booked the executive suite overlooking the lock. The room size was great and we had easy access to a private patio. We ordered room service that arrived promptly. Food was lovely and the staff were very pleasant. Lots of water activities nearby and a bus stop across from the hotel if travelling via public transport. Scenery is unreal. Would recommend and will absolutely be back.

Bed bit small, but otherwise comfortable. Decaff choices would be good. Only one biscuit for couple sharing seemed a bit sparse! Staff were all lovely especially breakfast team.
