Better to have some idea about this area (Mahipalpur) and tempered expectations matching that. I personally was okay with that for a single person stay, however saw some of the other guests (all Indians BTW) complaining about the surrounds. The promised complimentary (200 INR/-) pickup and drop-off from/to the airport as mentioned in the reservation confirmation was not there. No one picks your call when you land middle of the night. I had to make my own transportation arrangement - apparently, its a different company, other than the hotel that arranges for this transportation. The hotel arranged for my transportation back to the airport, however charged me 3x of what I paid coming in from the airport. The staff at the hotel otherwise, was very helpful. Helped me with all the local directions. The breakfast as well was very good and was just what light breakfast should be.

The last few blocks leading to WTI Hotel reminded me many times of our short overnight stays in Bangkok where I used to look up on latestays.com (now taken over by Bookings.com or other websites.) which were often located on very narrow, very rocky streets having many small vendors. IT FELT LIKE HOME. Like our BKK hotels, WTI had a nice entrance, with very quick assistance with many bags, The clerk quickly assigned a room on the ground floor (as requested in the reservation due to our age, not wanting to haul bags up stairs). But this hotel has an elevator! Our room was a little tight, but well equipped, an older refurbished hotel indeed. I always used these standards: The room was cool, (A/C), and quite clean, water was hot, bed firm and comfortable, and safe! What more did we need? Ah yes, we needed to hire a taxi to take us to Agra which the manager quickly arranged for 6AM departure. No sweat! The hotel even has a small restarant on the top floor that we didn't know about upon arrival that was even agreeable to opening very early the next morning before our departure. When we returned from Agra (Taj Mahal) the slow 4 hr return trip left us a bit short of time to get to airport. The manager who kept our bags while we went site seeing simply had the same taxi take us to the airport avoiding having to flag a new text during rush hour. So yes I give this small hotel a very high commendation!

I reserved this property because it provided a shuttle to the airport, but that’s actually untrue. I’d had correspondence with the hotel, verifying the same, but they didn’t answer when I called the provided numbers, nor return messages/ emails. I got a cab in the end. The room stank of some industrial cleaning product. A complete disaster

It was a great price for what we were looking for. We booked it because it was close to the airport and it came with a free shuttle. We checked in late in the evening and checked out very early in the morning. The food from the restaurant was excellent and convenient.

This hotel is super near the airport but the street it’s on is off the beaten path and it’s very much like many other streets in India poverty stricken, so it is sort of a shock because there are a bunch of people on the street that asked for money and as a single woman, I did not feel comfortable. All over India like on the streets of Delhi there ere are a lot of beggars and people that ask for money and they come right up to you. I know there are other hotels on the main drag there for the same price that look a lot nicer and if I had been in Delhi before I would’ve picked another hotel if you can afford it go to the Radisson or the Taj Mahal for $100 a night and you will save yourself from people begging and being in a very poverty-atriken environment. The elevator was broken when I got there and I asked them about refrigeration because my medication needed to be refrigerated. They promised me they would fix it and they never did so it was left there for two days when I went to Kathmandu and when I came back, they never put the medication in the fridge like I requested. They told me they were gonna do room service and they never did the room service then finally they did.
