Hotel Stadt Melk

Das Haus ist mit Liebe renoviert worden. Die Lage am Stadtplatz könnte kaum besser sein. Die Eigentümer kümmern sich persönlich um die Gäste.

Für die Größe und Ausstattung war der Preis doch sehr hoch. Einzelne Details sind leider schon etwas abgewohnt. Es gibt keinen Aufzug.

Il se peut qu'en forte période touristique, l'emplacement soit bruyant de par son emplacement.

Ausgezeichnetes Bett, Frühstück reichlich und die Lage ist perfekt im Zentrum, nachts ist es trotzdem komplett ruhig, auch bei offenem Fenster.

Location was very good. You could look up the window and see people in the Square enjoying themselves. Had a nice bike shed for storing your bicycle. The beds in the room were comfortable . The room was fairly small.

2 things, 1…When you came to reception, there was a note saying to call a number to get the staff to the front desk on WhatsApp. I couldn’t get WhatsApp to work so I waited 10 minutes until a cleaner came and called the owner, who was out in the car park sunning himself. 2… there is a restaurant attached in the basement of the hotel. Not sure if they own it or not, but there was no breakfast offered. Only you could pay for a breakfast down the street for a bit of a discount but the thing that blew me away was he offered a 25% discount on the coffee to go in the restaurant in the basement of the hotel. Very strange since I’ve been paying the same amount for different hotels, including phenomenal breakfasts.
