Great location within 10mins of station and a short walk uphill to the abbey. Good breakfast and very friendly service; Philippe was a tome of knowledge about the local history.

Shower stall quite small and no aircon in my attic room but fortunately the heat only occurred on 1 of 4 days of my stay

Freundlichkeit beim Empfang Moderne saubere Zimmer Uns wurde unaufgefordert ein Ventilator zur Verfügung gestellt

Man konnte den Sonnenschutz nachts leider nicht hochfahren, weshalb wenig Luft ins Zimmer kam Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und mussten zum Frühstück in ein anderes Café, was wirklich in Ordnung war, leider wäre das Frühstück im Hotel bereits um 7:00 gewesen, das Frühstück im Café erst ab 7:30 Der Fahrradraum ist sehr klein, als wir um 15:00 ankamen war er bereits voll. Uns wurde aber umgehend eine Alternative angeboten, was sehr zuvorkommend war.

The location was excellent, since my purpose in visiting Melk was to spend time at the Melk Abbey.

Steps, but I was aware of that when I booked. That's not a complaint, just an observation.
