Wow! This great boutique hotel is amazing. !!! A great location with amazing breakfast and a real colonial feel to the place.. the owner and his family are great. It’s a family-owned hotel and it feels like you’re at home. I would highly recommend to stay here white in Quito :)

This was a delightful boutique hotel, recently renovated, but 100 years old. The staff are exceptional. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It's on a busy street, but there is very little noise inside. If you want to experience something that isn't standard and cookie cutter, this is it.

Great place to stay, Diego and his family were great host's

This property is a so wonderful! Diego and his family make you feel so at home! We had a last minute trip for a family emergency and they were so accommodating making sure everyday that everything was going ok. The beds were super comfortable and we slept well every night. If you don’t like road noise don’t stay in the honeymoon suite. The road noise was bit a bother to us as we slept with a sound machine. Make sure you take time to explore the property there are so many interesting architectural features. Don’t forget to go out in the garden and meet Otto!!

The most homelike and altogether pleasant stay in years of travel in many countries. Diego's English is good; the free breakfast (cooked by mom and dad) was wonderful (and too much!); quiet, clean, and spacious quarters with a family German shepherd "Otto" who will play tug of war with you all day if you want. The 9 room boutique hotel is very near transportation yet very quiet; it is perfectly situated between the Old Town and the newer Mariscal area. Attractively priced for everything you receive.

Upon arriving at Boutique Hotel Casona D'Alameda, my husband and I were struck with food poisoning (from food we ate earlier in the day and nothing related to this amazing hotel). We then spent the next 40 hours super sick. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to be sick in. Diego and his family (the owners) were so amazing and caring about our well-being. Diego even took my husband to the pharmacy for some medication for us and helped him. Every day they asked after us to see how we were doing and if we were feeling any better. At one point, we dropped our laundry off to be washed, and 2 hours later, it was returned to us, cleaned and folded. Our room was amazing (we had one of the honeymoon suites). The claw foot bathtub was lovely for my sick body to soak in and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The netflix on the TV also helped aid in our recovery. Diego also arranged for a taxi to the airport for us at 5am, and even got up early to see us off and make sure the taxi pick-up went smoothly. Next time we are in Quito, we plan on staying at Boutique Hotel Casona D'Alameda again.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed and I would highly recommend it! The attention to detail in hospitality was amazing and we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived . It is also located in a great location near to the colonial area, as well as Fochs. Can’t wait to go back and stay there again! The daily breakfast was outstanding with different fresh fruits and juices each day. Also, I’m a bit of a clean freak, and the cleanliness of rooms , dining rooms, etc exceeded my expectations

The owners of this excellent hotel, Diego and his family, are wonderful humble people who seems to be dedicated to running this hotel. The building is amazing, the service is perfect, the healthy breakfast is homemade by the family, WiFi (important for me) is great. Every detail is handled at the highest level. You just need to focus on having fun. The hotel is located in a perfect location, walking to the old city.
