Tatvamasi Homestay

Echoing the other reviews – the staff and friendliness, generosity and care, are what make this stay special. I like the location and ease to walk to shops, cafes, and services. Pankaj and his team go above and beyond to help, this is super important to me as a solo traveler.

Nice homestay in an upscale and peaceful neighborhood in South Delhi. Close to some nice restaurants, cafes and shops. One would need a car to visit points of interest. The owner is very friendly and great conversationalist--he drove two of us to the Lotus Temple on morning. Rooms and bathrooms are a decent size.

No breakfast--would have been nice since to get one going in the morning. They do serve a nice chai masala, throughout the day.

We had a really nice stay. The room was very comfortable. The owner was icredibly nice and very helpful.

It was welcoming and a perfect place to explore from. Clean, comfy bed and a nice area to relax after a day out in Delhi. Close to shops, banks, restaurants and not far from the airport - a short taxi ride.

Host was amazing and had great recommendations. Went out of their way to find ways to get around, provided tea several times and was a great conversationalist. Definitely recommended.

The toilet could use more toiletries (body wash and shampoo). More tourists are used to having those at stays.

Pankaj is a great host - excellent travel tips and kind enough to drive you out to the nearest metro station / food market cluster when convenient. The neighborhood feels safe, well maintained and is quiet at night, providing a pleasant respite from the more chaotic parts of Delhi you will visit during your stay. There are two 24/7 gyms located a 5 minute walk from the property - the Anytime Fitness sells day passes for 500 INR (get there before 10pm).

I spent 12 nights at Tatvamasi in Feb 2026. I’m very satisfied and plan to return. The Wi-Fi is very strong and steady, and I like the location. You can walk to several high-quality restaurants in less than 10 minutes. The owner and host, Pankaj, is a masterful host. He helped me enjoy my visit to Delhi and offered excellent tips and advice regarding where to go, what to see, how to get there, and the best places to eat, whatever food you tell him you’d like. His staff are also superb. You’ll be offered a chai every time they see you.
