La Residence

Words cannot express the dream wedding anniversary we experienced at this world class hotel . From the beautiful gardens , sounds of running water and peacocks roaming amongst the guests . The mountains views and vineyards are truly magical .. Our room No 10 was certainly on par with the Silo Hotel in Cape Town as the best of the best . SPECTACULAR. The best for last , the SERVICE was world class Mr Hoon you’r a legend each and every member of your team was “ “next level “ It was an honour to stay at this breathtakingly stunning hotel .

It was good and the whole experience was amazing, it really is worth youe money and their staff are amazing and friendly. Everything is in order and the showers, bedsheets, pillows and food is clean and nice. I would like to come back again and experience this.

My wife and I returned to this world renowned property which is a luxurious destination with stunning views of the Franschhoek mountain ranges - The property offers a luxurious exterior and an interior with high ceilings, opulent furnishings, and state-of-the-art technology - The decor combines traditional Asian elements with modern sophistication - The acclaimed restaurant overlooks an infinity pool and a view that reminds of mountain villages in Switzerland - The exceptional service from staff in particular, Simone in the restaurant, was a highlight of our experience - It is said that the difference between great and excellence, is an inch of effort, however at this property the inches are never ending - La Residence is a dream come true for those seeking hospitality and comfort that is exclusive and infinitely unique.

La Residence is hands down the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Service was top notch and the food was excellent. Paradise in the heart of South Africa wine country. We cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved our stay at La Residence. The staff were outstanding, very professional but warm and friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. The property has been beautifully designed and we felt very privileged to have stayed there. Our breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice…just wonderful.

5 stars all around! La Residence is a little sliver of paradise. The grounds and hotel are stunningly beautiful. The service is incredible. When you drive up, a bunch of the staff come out and wave as you enter the property. The hospitality is unmatched. And the rooms are equally over the top. We stayed in Villa 2 which had a huge bed that required a three-step footstool to get into and a bathroom large enough to put the bathtub right in the middle with room with large vanities on both sides. There were so many little special touches. Additionally, there are beautiful peacocks roaming the property along with the areas for mini-horses and springbok. Finally it's so close to the quaint town of Franschhoek with its many great restaurants and shops. Overall just a really special place.
