excellent breakfast, cooked to perfection

This wasnt a pleasant stay. Room had so many cobwebs and the shower had a shower curtain. In tge breakfast area it needed a good clean. The bar person was lovely. The breakfast was adequate but lacked flavour

Good location for visiting Leiston and the Suffolk coast. Landlord was very friendly. Excellent cooked breakfast.

We stayed in a brick chalet, which I think was probably a converted shed/outbuilding. Inside it was a bit shabby and needed a deep clean. Bedding was very creased/un-ironed which made it look like the previous occupants had only just left. The person in the chalet next door, (who seemed to be a permanent resident), had a dog which barked loudly every time we walked past. Unfortunately, sometimes there was a lot of dog poo in the small garden area outside our chalet,.

Poor for the money. No blind on the glass door, missing louvres from the window blinds, looked like theyd been chewed by a dog. Sagging mattresses on the beds.

We were expecting a pod, but had a room round the back of the pub. Parking was easy. It was warm, and quiet. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. In the room the tv looked precarious. The privacy blinds had been chewed by a dog and some bits were missing. The pillows were very poor( I always take my own) and the bed linen had not seen an iron. The towels were adequate and the water was hot but the shower hose needed a good clean with a nail brush. There was a small garden area with a picnic bench but the bench was rather rickety and there were a lot of big weeds in it. The twin beds were 2ft 6in each, rather small for adults but comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Perhaps I am just used to higher standards of comfort but a little investment and better housekeeping would be rewarded with more income for the owners.

I wasn't expecting a detached cabin. It was self-contained and felt very secure. I was able to park right next-door too. Very good for solo travelling. I loved the bee theme to the decor. Breakfast was good and all the hosts very friendly. I would happily stay at the Butchers Arms again.

The sink in the ensuite was tiny and I couldn’t find many channels on the TV. But the cabin was cosy and comfortable and a bath mat had been supplied.

Friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast. Easy parking.

Sam was an absolute star! Couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was great!
