POP! Hotel Pemuda Semarang

it was such an incredible experience to took pop! hotel as a part of my first solo trip. but it’s quite sad, because i got the towel that smelled kinda bad. also the wifi isn’t really work (it’s kinda unstable). but for the service and everything, it was a blast! (especially the view from my room).

I would say that Pop Hotel Pemuda Semarang is unlike any other Pop Hotels where we should buy amenities on our own. The dental kits, sandals etc are already in our room even if we can purchase extra amenities and sandals. They also have tote bags, too bad, I didn't purchase because I didn't expect such souvenirs from the hotel. I love it that they provide simple buffet-style breakfast. The final day of my stay was the most delicious and complete breakfast, perhaps it's because of the D-date of Hari Raya. The room was also quite clean, and the hotel itself is located just behind DP Mall, one of the most crowded malls in Central Semarang. I guess the "0" helpline is the thing that this hotel management needs to improve. After all, the speed of their service is so sluggish, and my request was only about toothpaste... Even though I am pleased to see they give me extra mineral water after they realized they are too slow.

First time entering the room, i feel and smelling bad on the bed. Asked hotel staff to fix it while leaving hotel for outside dinner, but looked nothing done by them. There is still bed smell! The towels also already old and pale. No tooth paste and brush. I should buy slipper sandal with Rp 15K since unavailable in the room. No coffee, tea, sugar, even teapot. Neither hot water to make a cup of coffee, you should buy it at lobby ...
