Palazzo Rodio

Breakfast was amazing. Great start of the day with nice food and great vibes in the breakfast area of Palazzo. Pool and garden are great areas to chill and relax after exploring the city. Paolo and Theresa are amazing hosts, they were doing everything to make are stay enjoyable and unforgettable, highly recommend!

There is no such thing

Palazzo Rodio is an atmospheric 19th century building just a short walk from Ostuni old town. The beautiful walled garden and pool are an oasis of calm. The warm welcome and hospitality from Paolo, Teresa and Valentina were a highlight of our trip . Lovely breakfast with lots of fresh fruit . We had the middle room without a terrace /balcony but the garden was available to us to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Grazie mille Clare ,Denis and Matt

It is a heritage building so that brings some quirks such as low door heights in places so just need to mind the head !

Grand mansion with large rooms and a huge balcony. Great central location, friendly owners and staff that are very helpful. Feel very at home instantly. Beautifully maintained gardens.

The pool is the winner here. It is a beautiful well kept garden. Where you can swim and enjoy your breakfast outside. The rooms are very spacious. Paolo and Teresa are very welcoming. We were greeted with a glass of wine. Great recommendations for restaurants in the old town too!

The shower leaked but not a deal breaker.

This truly is an Italian palace! We stayed in the Melody room (family of 4 which included 21 and 19 year old children), and it was both massive and breathtaking. The hosts were exceptional with particular callout to Paolo, Teresa and Valentina. The pool was a good size in its own private hideaway. The breakfast was always offered with the highest standard of service and quality. Ostuni itself is fantastic with the centre a short 5 minute walk away.

The air conditioning was not working in one of the bedrooms. In fairness they had called out a service engineer twice to try get it sorted so no fault of hosts. As the space is so big it was not a problem.

We had the most incredible stay at Palazzo Rodio—a beautiful and tranquil house that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Paolo, Teresa and Valentina went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. The house itself is stunning—steeped in charm and history, yet wonderfully comfortable. The swimming pool area and gardens are absolutely breathtaking—a peaceful oasis ideal for relaxing after exploring Ostuni. We also loved the delicious breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and served with care. This is the kind of place you find once and never forget. We will absolutely be back, and we’re already recommending it to friends and family. Grazie mille for an unforgettable experience!

The hotel is located in the centre of Ostuni.

The description of the hotel is misleading and the pictures do not provide a realistic idea of what to expect. Guests are offered the choice of either a tiny room, or of a multi-room space suitable for families in a DYI vacation. Everything is old and smelly. The main bed in unconfortable so we wned up sleeping in a secondary room where the bed was just OK. Not worth the price. Only consider this hotel if you are in a family of four or with two couples who can tolerate smelly places.

Special mention about Valentina who could not have been more friendly and helpful.
