Palazzo Rodio

Amazing property! An actual palazzo ! Looks like you stepped into a movie set : huge reception hall with high ceilings , decorated impeccably, very impressive . Beautiful backyard with small pool and lounge chairs , pomegranate and orange trees . We actually stayed at the “ servants” part of the house, which made it even cooler . Very comfortable and ( again) decorated perfectly. Our breakfast was included and it was very good with great variety of food , very friendly staff . Our host Valentina was amazing ! She met us at the property , explained everything, greeted us every morning , booked our restaurants for dinner and maintained communication constantly. We felt very welcomed and taken care of . And here is the bonus : they have 2 rooms dedicated to wine tasting ( need to order ) and spa services ( massage ). We were there for 2 nights only so we didn’t have a chance to experience it :( The location of the property is great , steps away from the old city and every meeting point . All in all this was a winner and the best and most exciting stay we booked while traveling through Puglia region . Highly recommend!

The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny with low ceiling so we were bumping out heads constantly:). The shower had no shelves to put the soap/ shampoo on , slippery shower floor . Not a deal breaker though

Struttura Sublime,curata nei minimi particolari. Teresa e Paolo sono delle persone meravigliose,ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. Dopo un aperitivo abbondante e squisitissimo la signora Teresa ci ha offerto della crostata e l’amaro. È stato molto interessante il racconto della signora Teresa sulla storia del palazzo e della sua famiglia a cui apparteneva. La colazione completa e ben organizzata. È stato un soggiorno più che piacevole,senza alcun dubbio ci faremo ritorno.

The Palazzo was less than 10 minutes walk from the old town which was fabulous for us. We could do our sight seeing in the morning after breakfast before returning later via the local supermarket where we’d purchase our burrata, tomatoes and basil for lunch. In the afternoons, if we weren’t going out, we would head to the pool for our afternoon swim. We could relax there or on our terrace overlooking the rooftops of Ostuni. Our hosts were just lovely and Valentina was extremely helpful at the front desk. All round a really fantastic stay and a great place to base yourself for exploring the surrounding area. P.S. the restaurant next door is really great and so much more reasonable than the prices in the old town. Worth trying.

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit toller Lage. Die stimmungsvollen Details im ganzen Palazzo machen deutlich, mit welcher Liebe Paolo und Teresa diese Unterkunft führen. Alle waren stets freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend. Das Appartment war sehr groß und toll eingerichtet. Die Terrasse war toll um einen Kaffee draußen zu genießen. Nach einem heißen Tag erfreuten sich unsere Kinder am Pool. Hier sind ausreichend Liegen und Schirme vorhanden und es gibt überall wunderschöne Pflanzen und Zitrus sowie Granatapfelbäume. Es ist eine kleine Oase in mitten der Stadt. Das Frühstück war perfekt und bot alles was man sich wünschte. Es wurde sich zudem äußerst freundlich um unsere Kinder bemüht die den Aufenthalt ebenso sehr genossen. Alles in Allem perfekt!
