"A very pleasurable stay in a historic coaching inn."

The food is excellent - breakfast and dinners. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the bathroom facilities very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It feels like a home from home. A lovely historic coaching inn and a pleasure to stay in 250 years later!

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years, and it's really nice to see the investment in the property is showing. It's a real gem, with a bar, restaurant, beer garden and its lively at weekends.

The food was amazing and the bar was good

The bed was awful so hard and creaky and felt like I was going to roll out of it ! Needs changing
