The Deeping Stage

Breakfast and dinner were good and well served.

Stair carpet to rooms dirty and well trodden. No easy electric plug for the kettle except on the floor. A clicking noise a lot of each night in room 4 , heating, water or something else? More car parking spaces taken up with picnic tables.

Right in town

Need bits fixing broken floor tile 2 beds put together so you fall through middle shower fills up with water so you cannot have a long shower Wall are paper thin could here people next door

I arrived earlier than expected and, not only didn't they mind, they bent over backwards to get me a parking space alongside the hotel, showed me to my room and gave me a useful description of shops and other places in the vicinity. The room I was given was beautiful. Bedroom and bathroom spotless. While I was there the road outside was closed for roadworks with diversion in place, so there was no traffic and it was very quiet.

Location. History and the overall feel. The staff was great . Very helpful. Ann in the breakfast room was so friendly seemed interested in what are plans were. Made suggestions for us and helped us with our early morning departure.
