"A welcoming stay that is like staying with friends."

You couldn't meet nicer people in Bev & Graeme. They were great company (I was travelling alone) and you eat very well when you are there, with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. It is definitely a home from home! They were also a great source of information about what to see and where to go. You definitely need a car to fully enjoy the area as it is very rural, but this is as good a location as any to have as a base to explore the countryside - I drove for about an hour into central Bulgaria and drove all the way back to Bucharest with no problems, the roads were blissfully empty in April. Veliko Tarnovo is beautiful and well worth a visit.

We have stayed here before and it consistently delivers to a very high standard. Just like anything else the customer service is mostly the key to satisfaction and the hosts always deliver. Great food served up on request is a winner.

Thank you Bev and Graeme for an amazing stay! Everything was beyond our expectations. The rooms and the common lounge were so cosy and beautifully decorated. Loved the attention to details! Delicious food, amazing conversations - Bev and Graeme are very warm hosts and have such interesting life stories. We felt like home and we`ll definitely be coming back!

Everything about it, the couple that run it were seasoned travellers in their time and know how to run a guest house for all kinds of nationalities people come from all over the world to stay here, very relaxed and friendly and attention to detail wished we could have stayed longer ourselves!

"a house is made of bricks, but a home is made of feelings" describes very well this location: very warm hosts, communicative, wonderful decorations of the apartment, quiet village, parking place in front of the property, you can ask for breakfast there, they have several options; and one should definitely try the indian dinner options
