Sunflower Guest House Bulgaria

This was probably one of the warmest, kindest, cleanest and joyful place we have ever stayed. The hosts are full of life and life tales, they make you feel so much at home and treat you like one of their friends from the second they meet you. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with everything you could possibly need to make the stay perfect.

Just returned from 8 days at the beautiful Sunflower Guest House. On arrival we were greeted by our fabulous hosts Bev and Graeme and were immediately made to feel welcome. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were put in the Sunflower Room which was clean and bright and the comfortable bed and pillows made for a great nights sleep. There are several options for breakfast and I highly recommend the full English with the most delicious homemade pork sausage. We enjoyed most of our evening meals there and there are so many choices from a wonderful roast chicken dinner to a traditional Bulgarian pork dish. Everything is made fresh , and well presented. Nothing is too much for these wonderful hosts. The gardens are well maintained and there is plenty of seating area to soak up the sun read a book and just relax. This is your home away from home and I can honestly say we made some wonderful memories and left Bulgaria having made two great friends. Thank you so much Graeme and Bev and we will be back soon.

The room was very clean and comfy, The breakfast was delicious and the dinner exceeded our expectation. The owners are very nice people and we will definitely come back for a longer stay.

We stayed in this wonderful place for one night on our way back from Sofia. The place was so quiet and peaceful away from the city noise. Beautiful and well maintained garden. Various activities are available to the guests - darts, billiards, outdoor pool, sun terrace. I am in love with the style of this place - natural materials are used, the architecture of the past has been preserved. Bev and Graеmе are wonderful hosts, hospitable, ready to meet any wishes of the guests. We pre-ordered dinner and breakfast. There is a great selection of international dishes and Graеmе has excellent cooking skills. Everything was presented with care and beautifully arranged. We are so happy we found this wonderful place and will be back again and again.
