Silverwood Luxury Lodge Resort, 37 individual stunning properties

The lodge looked beautiful on paper could have been nice if it was up to the standard that was advertised. The play park was good for the children. Unfortunately we booked the lodge for the hot tub unfortunately it was not cleaned after the last clients and the inside of the property was exactly the same. I appreciate they were busy but

Dirty hot tub, dirty lodge, lack of cutlery, staff saying they would speak to us or get the management to contact us and they didn’t. WiFi didn’t work so we couldn’t use the television. A bit of a disaster all round.

Clean and comfortable. Hot tub was fun.

Poor wifi. Expected more for £450 a night. Providing exactly x2 dishwasher tablets for 2 nights was a bit skimpy.

Enjoyed having living area and kitchen facilities, very clean and well presented. Very quiet except for evening prior and day of wedding taking place. We weren't attending wedding. The food from the Silverwood sizzler was very good, menu left in lodges slightly different would be good if update & you knew before that you needed to order online and book collection time. It was only open one night of our 3 day stay.

Wedding venue looks lovely but would be nice if cafe/bar or bistro available for guests. We didn't use, but additional charges for facilities I felt it was expensive enough & should have been included in the cost. We had a few minor issues with the lodge reported the day we arrived, they hadn't been addressed when we checked out. A welcome pack would have been nice just milk, tea and coffee just enough until able to get to local shop.
