La Fortuna Lodge

Excellent service from staff. Clean and new facilities and property. Breakfast was delicious and you can choose amongst any 4 options. It’s close enough to Arenal that you can get to places like Mistico in 30 minutes but far enough away that you can actually take in the spectacular view of the volcano from all over the city. Loves our stay here.

This place was truly wonderful. The staff are so welcoming and always willing to answer questions. The breakfast selection is great and gave us the boost to go on our hikes and other adventures. The rooms were small, but efficient, clean, and new feeling. Best of all was the incredible view of Arenal volcano.

Everything was great except the water pressure, but the staff offered to make arrangements for us to shower elsewhere which was above and beyond. Thanks.

Clean rooms wonderful breakfast and front desk always helpful whether you need bags left or advice on tours or even calling to book on your behalf. Location is also walking distance from town and very convenient

Kisha & Roy are extremely helpful. Thank them for their help. Hey recommended good restaurants . Around corner is laundry run by Maria. Charges by kilo and does great job. The La Fortuna Lodge beds are very comfortable! A/C blows cold,view of Mt. Arenal beautiful from room #28. Thanks to all!!!

Excellent stay - precious views of the volcano and super attentive staff.

The staff were incredible welcoming and kind. The hotel is located in the back of La fortuna, but extremely walkable. I enjoyed the quiet street! The breakfast was so yummy! Not to mention the view from my room! I had a direct view of the volcano :)

This is such a perfect place. Super friendly staff, extremely clean property looks brand new, amazing view from our room and you can walk to a ton of restaurants, shops, markets, anything you would need. I definitely recommend this hotel!
