La Fortuna Lodge

La Fortuna Lodge is the hidden gem of downtown La Fortuna! I have been staying here for the past 3 years and it never disappoints. The location is perfection. It is steps away from everything you could want in La Fortuna, yet it is on a lovely quiet street with beautiful views of the Volcano. The amazing staff is the best part of La Fortuna Lodge. I would like to give a special shout-out to Roy, Fernanda, and Daniel for going above and beyond. Roy and Fernanda took care of me when I was injured & not feeling well, and were incredibly kind and attentive in making sure I had everything I needed. When my husband joined me for our anniversary, both Roy and Daniel went out of their way to accommodate our needs, It made our trip special in every way! You can’t go wrong with La Fortuna Lodge. Each year that I return, it’s like coming home again.

There are nice common areas to sit, they offer a good breakfast, water and ice. This is the first hotel we have stayed at in Costa Rica that had water available and bottled water starts to add up. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and they stored our luggage after we checked out.

Really enjoyed the stay at La Fortuna Lodge during the last week of January 2025. Staff were super friendly, organized and accommodating. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. 10/10

The reception was very good and helpful. Our room was very nice and comfortable. It was nice to have a little porch outside our room. The grounds were very pretty. Breakfast was simple but very good.

Beautiful place

Really enjoyed my stay. It was my first time solo traveling and I picked a spot central in the town of La Fortuna. This lodge is close to many great restaurants and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. I felt safe in knowing there was a buzzer needed to get into the building. The reception is very helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends ☺️.

The hotel is up to date. Love the outside court yard. Hotel is in town and close to everything La Fortuna has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Straight when you arrive in hotel, you feel as you enter your home. Ray at reception is such a nice and kind person, he make you feel very welcome. Hotel is spotless clean with a good location, perfect beds and cozy vibe.It s THE place to stay in La Fortuna.Now we are just waiting for Vulcano to come from the clouds:)

Lovely place!

Very nice hotel, nice rooms and atmosphere. Very close to La Fortuna restaurants and shops, still much more peaceful than the main street. Their breakfast was the perfect way to start a day, Friendly staff that were very helpful when I encountered a minor problem.
