Casa Babbuino

Lovely place to stay, comfortable rooms and an oasis of a garden. Very pretty church bells nearby. Would recommend staying here, we have great memories x

We really loved this little hotel in Veronetta! It has such a lovely charm to it, with a wonderful little garden that we regretted not being able to spend much time in. We stayed in the Surf Room which was really spacious, with a lovely big bathroom (such a great change from teeny, tiny hotel bathrooms!) and shower. Casa Babbuino was also extremely accommodating with check in and check out times which was fantastic, as we arrived after a 4 am start and really appreciated being able to access our room a little earlier. They were also very accommodating about bags and being able to leave bags safely with them after check out so we could explore unencumbered. We were truly sad that we only had a night to spend here, and would 100% return (hopefully for longer!) for any future trips to Verona.

The room was unique, garden very cosy, we loved to stay there! The city senter is close. The staff is friendly.

Un peu éloigné du centre-ville avec très peu de facilités (restaurants notamment) aux alentours immédiats. Raison pour laquelle le rapport qualité-prix pourrait être amélioré.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und durften das Gepäck bis zur Abreise in der Unterkunft lassen. Der Garten ist toll, die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, nachts war es ruhig.

In der Dusche und auf einem Bett waren noch Haare früherer Gäste.

Everything was great. Highly recommend. This not a classic B&B as no in-house breakfast is offered but rather a nearby cafe with discounted breakfast option. Verona's old town is a tourist zoo (...for both good and silly reasons) but it does have charming back streets to decompress. We felt lucky to be able to spend the hottest part of a heat wave in our lovely central air conditioned room and then experience the coliseum for a very special late evening event. We also happened to be there during an organ music festival. So I'd say it's well worth to research the cultural events during your stay. That Romeo & Juliet balcony is not one of them.

Quartier où il ne faut pas être impressionné par la population quelques marginaux qui nous laissent tranquilles.
