Brilliant location and lovely well equipped apartment over two floors

It would have been perfect if you could have provided some toiletries.

Amazing location everything we wanted to do and see what’s really close. The property itself was lovely, had a very homely feel and was perfect for our weekend away

Excellent location. Clean and spacious. Modern bathroom.

It would have more hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and some hooks in the bathroom but this is a minor quibble.

Good apartment - all facilities. Generous sized rooms. Very easy walk from station. Easy walk to town. Helpful staff.

Steep stairs to bedroom. An old building - floors uneven. Had to ask for washing powder for machine but staff happy to supply.

Location and fit/finish of the property

Bathroom door wouldn’t lock. Lights downstairs didn’t work with the dimmer switch, they would strobe

The apartment was well equipped, and in a fantastic location for exploring York. We had our spaniel with us, which was fab to be able to stay somewhere in the city and still have a little area to let her out before bed time. The set up is great, nice comfortable sofa area, and nice big bathroom!

The only complaint I would have is the bed, it’s only personal preference, but it was very hard, and I think because we are used to a big bed it seemed very small to us, but again, that’s no a real complaint. It’s just personal preference.

The location was close enough to the centre and the layout of the rooms was quirky but all well equipped.

A view was the only thing missing but we knew that when booking and did not impact us as we were out a lot. Be aware of steep stairs to bedroom and bathroom but good railings so fine if taking it carefully. Parking in York is relatively expensive so think about this before travel.
