Lovely, traditional and very old, wood-framed building. Central location in Dedham Village, near the church that features in many paintings Large comfortable room Good Breakfast

Some room furniture was random, cheap stuff Walls were thin, so a bit noisy Other businesses in Dedham Village often close at 4pm.

The building, the location and the staff were great & welcoming.

Just seemed tired!

Beautiful old pub but modern, clean furnishings, comfy bed and powerful shower. Nice touches such as tea & coffee and bottled water provided in the room. Delicious breakfast options. Excellent location for Dedham high street and the river, with on-site parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

Unfortunately its central location & road-facing rooms meant that I was disturbed a number of times by very early morning deliveries being made opposite.

It’s obviously subject to traffic noise in the morning due to its position on a junction in a high st. Not suitable for guests with mobility problems due to difficult access to rooms

The staff are superb, well trained and young lady who showed us to room and later took out food order was exceptional. Room was beautiful and clean. Food was amazing and breakfast awesome, best sausages ever! Will be back

Thought the staff were most helpful,I had arranged a family lunch party for five ,and found the choice and quality of the food excellent good choice and perfectly cooked. . My guests were most impressed.

The shower had no mat to stand on so when my wife applied liquid soap and some went on the floor it became lethal and she slipped over and to make matters worse I had to rush in to gather her up and got saturated. After that we had to put a towel on the floor inside the shower to stop a further fall. The whole problem could be resolved easily by putting a rubber mat on the floor inside the shower.
