"Lovely place to stay, helpful tho busy staff in a large but still cozy pub/restaurant"

Lovely breakfast, well cooked and presented. Dedham is a lovely village, interesting shops, church with Constable family bible on display and another church, which has been transformed into a superb arts and crafts centre. Dinner was delicious, definitely recommend the sharing platter! Very social sitting by the fire in the lounge area for drinks before dinner.

We found the stairs to our room a little awkward as they were uneven but that is the nature of the old building, guests with mobility issues may have problems tho.
