Lx SoHo Boutique Hotel by RIDAN Hotels

We had an upstairs neighbor up until 3am and the soundproofing was terrible. We couldn't sleep at all. It was a really rough night. We called the desk at 10:30pm but the sound continued.

One of the reasons I chose this place was that it had a queen bed. When I got to my room it was two twins, which does not work for a romantic stay. When I told the staff, at first they said there was nothing they could do. Eventually, they said I could be put in some other building across the street. The room did have a queen, but did not have a street view like promised, and the building was in bad repair and mostly abandoned. I was told a new key card would be brought to me, but after 20 minutes I had to track the worker down in the other hotel. This whole process took a great deal of time and I was late to see my friends. I was never given Wi-Fi code for the new room, and the bathroom was poorly stocked. I get the feeling this place might be ok if everything goes according to plan, but if not, they just really do not have the capacity to deliver anything above a subpar experience.

We loved this hotel. The location is very good. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Rosio Square is about 20 mins walk from where we boarded our tours. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The morning breakfast was good. Overall, a good stay.

It was such a pleasure to stay at the Lx SoHo Boutique hotel mostly because of Catarina at the front desk. Also Victor the nighttime front desk clerk was excellent. When I first checked in my bathroom had obviously been used and was dirty but Catarina offered to clean it, and delivered me an extra comforter immediately as I was a bit chilly. I was also offered complimentary breakfast for the trouble. But mostly I was so impressed by the professionalism and friendly service I received. Catarina helped me book a couple of tours as well that I thoroughly enjoyed. I will always remember my stay in Lisbon because I feel I made a new friend for life in her. So many things to like about this hotel. When we arrived we were informed that there was an issue with our room, so they had to place us in a different room (smaller) for one night. Not ideal, but things happen. They reduced our fees and were proactive about moving our luggage etc to the new room the next day (we left our bags with friends in a neighboring room, so it wasn't necessary). We stayed in a Superior room with a balcony, which I highly recommend. The comfort room is extremely small. The superior room gives you space to move around a bit. The location of the hotel is great - very close to the metro. A Supermercado is right next door. The breakfasts were nicely appointed and Nunu (undoubtedly misspelling his name) was delightful. He made us our cappuccinos every morning and they were better than anywhere else! All of the staff was extremely friendly, from the front desk to the breakfast team. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Everything was amazing, the staff is great, the rooms are very clean. The only thing is that our room was too small and we had to jump over our luggage when it was open on the floor.

Fantastic location, and very smart hotel. Comfy, large beds and well appointed bathroom. The staff were pleasant. My only slight complaint was I felt there were not enough hangers in the wardrobe. Overall a wonderful place which made getting to know lisbon a dream.

I just comeback from Portugal and I think this hôtel was great.The room are tiny but the staff was kind. Their pastel de nata at the entrance was delicious and if you can try their breakfast. We had good sleep and the place is located near the metro and not too far from city center.. Lisbon can be really crowded so I dont mind to be 15 min away from it. Muito obrigado
