South Beach Place - Vero Beach

All perfect…

The room we reserved weeks before was a King Suite with 2 pullout beds.. the room when we arrived was a room with one small bed and no pullout couches. When I went to the desk they had no king rooms available, if they even have that type of room, and we had no options and could not stay in the room and were charged extra for a king suite.. we ended up having to get another room at a different hotel

Such a great quiet location. Very enjoyable and has everything we needed for our family. Great landscaping. We fully anticipate returning next year.

Our third visit with plans to return every year. We travel to only nature centered places and the 500 steps to the beach from our room more than meets our criteria. We were fortunate to meet the new owner who redefines 'hands on.' A great guy. The staff could not be more welcoming. Minutes from everything you might want to explore, you return to solitude and a helluva pool. With the ability to cook, a short trip over the bridge enables us to stock up for when we choose not to dine out at a variety of options. As card-carrying beach nuts, we guarantee the five minute walk to the neighboring beach will be very rewarding.

Amazing decor and property. Well maintained and equipped.

We booked a room on the second floor several months in advance. We received an email confirmation a few days before our trip, and we noticed that we’d been moved to a different room on the first floor. We asked if we could be moved to any room on the second floor, and we were told that nothing was available. We stayed almost a week and, for most of our stay, the motel was almost empty. It only filled-up on the weekend. It was very confusing and frustrating. The floors needed to be mopped. (Our feet/socks got dirty as we walked around.) Other than that, the room seemed very clean. The décor is wonderful and fun. The motel policy states that quiet hours begin at 10pm nightly. However, a group sat around the pool playing music and talking loudly until after midnight one night. Normally, we wouldn’t have minded too much, but we had to catch an early flight the next day. We stopped by the front office twice (during business hours) to ask a question, but no one was there, and the door was locked. In-room information stated that the property was purchased by an investor from Tennessee in March 2023. Maybe the place is starting to go downhill. It felt like none of the employees/management really cared, and no one was on-site much of the time.

Pool area was pleasant and great proximity to beach.
