Location is great and have had perfectly pleasant stays here previously.

The room wasn’t especially clean, dirty carpet under the beds. Thick layer of dust and lost sock on the shelf. No ac but a fan provided, except the fan was dirty and ineffective. Was surprised to fine ear plugs provided, found out why early next morning when the Weatherspoons next door had their glass ins emptied. The door didn’t fit the frame so you need to put your shoulder to it.

Very basic. No bedside table or hand towels. Area where you hang clothes jutted out and was dangerously when you walked next to it. Noisy location.

Ive never been to Lancaster before was only there for 1 night the hotel was great. But its a great place to stay. Had a nice tour round the castle

The only problem was the hotel lifts didn't work and we had to walk up alot of stairs
