Plitvice Falls Cottage - Luxury rooms & Dinner

Although we would have loved to stay longer, unfortunately we had already planned our next destination. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting Plitvice stay for at least two days, as this is the best way to fully experience the beauty of the lakes and everything this unique place has to offer. While many parts of Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy were experiencing tropical heat, we actually needed a light jacket in the evening here, and the morning temperature was a pleasant 22°C. For a summer holiday, I wholeheartedly recommend Plitvice Lakes. The drive is especially enjoyable if you are coming from the Split area towards Plitvice. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the entire experience left a very strong impression on me. Although this was not my first visit to Plitvice Lakes, I am already looking forward to coming back again.

Room was lovely and comfortable, we loved the outdoor dining space and the fact that it is walking distance from entrance 3 with free parking. Communication and service was excellent . We had the three course dinner which was delicious.

I wish the breakfast was better value for money. 25 euros is a bit steep but since there is nothing closer this becomes your only option

Great service by Mae and the owner. My rental car popped a tire upon arrival and they immediately tried to get me the help I need. Gave good explanation on routes to take to the park. Room I stayed at with the hot tub was big enough for 2 adult and 2 kids (on sofa bed). Very close walk or drive to third entrance into the park with zero lines.

Some little bugs were clinging onto the ceiling of the room, which is to be expected at a national park location. Shower stall had no door so it got a bit wet in the bathroom but not a big deal.
