Fantastic stay. Such good value for money.

Convenient location with good parking. Friendly staff with spacious and pleasant rooms. Food in the evening was good, as was the breakfast. Would recommend and will stay again!

Spacious, recently decorated and refurbished rooms. Good bar and restaurant downstairs. Exterior of the building needs some attention though as looks a bit of a haunted house!! Arrived on a Monday when the restaurant is closed (?) Quiz night on and breakfast needs some work on it to be more substantial, but overall a good place to stay in lovely surroundings.

Overall, we enjoyed staying here. The room servicing was very good, bed was comfy, change of towels etc. Our room was just a basic standard but decorated nicely. Our welcome by the male Manager was good and the first evening we sampled a small part of the Indian menu from the Elephant and Peacock menu which was very tasty.

Friendly staff , great food and service and rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location for visiting local attractions such as Matlock bath , Bakewell and Buxton !

Great reception on arrival and was taken to our room. The room was small but really nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast on day one was ok for continental and the guy on duty was really friendly and chatty. Unfortunately they didn't have any butter which isn't great when having toast. He did find me some marmalade. Day two breakfast had significantly less choice and they still didn't have butter. The girl explained that the delivery was due that day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the facilities. The breakfast situation is why I've marked it down
