Everything was lovely

Very good property. On main road so noisy but was aware of this before booking

Breakfast provided each morning save continental on Monday (not a complaint) which we knew beforehand. We had lovely curries in the evening - some of the nicest curries we have ever had!!

Nice interior design in bar and eating areas and our bedroom. Nice big bed and a roll top bath.

Beautiful part of the country to visit for a holiday

The room we were in was lovely; large with a large bathroom with a spacious shower. We didn’t use the bath. The decor was very tasteful, but we would have liked a chest/table to put our suitcases on instead of the floor. We are both over 80! The staircase was difficult. We ate in the restaurant (do book) & had a most delicious Indian meal. All the young staff were cheerful & very willing.

Had a fantastic stay, service very good, only issue was being a disabled driver and only one space available being obscured by other vehicles.

Well situated for visiting local attractions like Chatsworth, the staff are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are all large and very well furnished and the Indian food served is fantastic. The only negative is that it’s right on the main road (busy A6) so if your room is at the front it’s quite noisy when you’re trying to sleep. I would re-visit but would request a room at the back as I’m a very light sleeper.

Lovely welcoming staff and a fresh refit gave the best of both between old and new. The food was lovely too, predominantly Indian based which my wife and I enjoyed immensely. Parking is also very good and had the unexpected surprise of air conditioning in our room. If my wife’s bedside lamp had a bulb, then this would have been a flawless visit. Would certainly choose again.
