What a fantastic stay! This hotel, nestled in the hills above Bermeo, immediately impressed us with its welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. The welcome dinner was a highlight, featuring delicious local ingredients and wine that truly captured the essence of the region. Breakfast was equally impressive, with generous and freshly prepared options to start our day. Our room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a large private terrace. We highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional experience!

We stayed at Hotel Nafarrola during a girls’ trip through northern Spain, and it was one of the highlights of our journey. The setting is peaceful and stunning — the perfect base for exploring the Basque region. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely fantastic — fresh, local, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt special. The staff went above and beyond, helping us plan our days and organizing taxis, tours, and even laundry, which made everything so easy and stress-free. They were always communicative, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our planning and stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic spot with top-notch service and food, Hotel Nafarrola is a must

A wonderful place. Amazing bedroom. Fabulous food. What a gastronomic delight. And the chef managed to deal with my wife’s allergies - shellfish and crustaceans. Well done. Only downside was the difficulty of finding the place on satnav!

Excellent break in typical nature, relaxing and comfortable housing with delicious food. Warmly recommanded! The "tribute cider menu" proposed on Mondays is great for a typical immersion and the breakfast is really amazing. The room was beautiful. Personnel was so nice, knowledgeable and attentive to our comfort.

This was one of the most wonderful hotel stays we have ever had. We weee in Bilbao for 2 nights and wanted to stay somewhere outside of the city. We saw the excellent reviews online - but to be honest it still exceeded our expectations in every way. Accommodation spacious, clean, tasteful and stylish. Food outstanding. But most importantly - service was flawless. Josu and his brother have created a really special place. I hope they get the reward they deserve.

This is a fabulous hotel, renovated from and old farmhouse it seems. The staff are amazing, and the gourmet dinner I had was the best I have eaten in 10 years at least. It is located on a hill on a large property with a beautiful view of the valley and sea. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone

Our stay at this eco-hotel, located about 25 km from Bilbao, was simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed – the atmosphere is relaxed, warm, and full of thoughtful details. We were especially happy to receive a complimentary room upgrade – thank you so much! The room was an absolute dream: spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a stunning view. Breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant were a real treat – everything was fresh, local, and prepared with great care. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only mistake we made was using this hotel as a base to explore the area – since Bilbao and the airport are about a 25-minute drive away. Despite that, we truly enjoyed the peaceful setting and would have loved to stay longer. A hidden gem for anyone who appreciates tranquility, nature, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. Amazing place. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, stunning views. Breakfast was delicious. However the best of all was staff. Beyond nice, friendly and professional every single one of them. Well deserved 10/10. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good as well!! Place to come back!
