I have to say I loved everything about this hotel. They upgraded our stay even though they didn’t have to. I voted us to free snack time for breakfast and lunch. Staff was super helpful and amazing.

There was nothing that I didn’t enjoy.

I stayed at Josun Palace for work in April 2025, which was my second stay at the property, and I wanted to share a few balanced impressions. On the positive side, the rooms and service in some areas are excellent. Breakfast is genuinely outstanding, a wide selection, high quality, and a very pleasant way to start the day. When my Rimowa luggage broke during this stay, a houseman went out of his way to help fix a loose screw, which I really appreciated and won’t forget. That said, there are some consistent frustrations that make me hesitate to fully recommend the hotel, especially as a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member. Despite short stays and visible availability in higher room categories, I’ve never received an upgrade here, which makes the elite recognition feel quite limited compared to other luxury properties in the portfolio. The concierge was also unable to secure a reservation for me at Eatanic Garden, the hotel’s own signature restaurant, even though I’ve dined there before and know how good it is, that was disappointing. Additionally, the hotel charges for use of the sauna, even for top-tier elites, which feels unnecessarily petty at this price point. Breakfast service also has blackout periods when the team is on break, so you can’t just show up anytime within the posted hours. Overall, Josun Palace has strong fundamentals and some lovely touches, but inconsistent elite recognition and a few nickel-and-diming policies keep it from being a clear favorite for me in Seoul.

Service, staff, rooms, smell of the hotel, interior/art, literally it is everything I was looking for in a luxury hotel. I loved it!!!

Entire hotel staff members are excellent from front desk. Conciergerie, and Valet service. The staff members made up for a bit of confusing hotel location and layout of the hotel. And great Chines restaurant and breakfast buffet!.

Could be a bit better if the hotel offer a bit more spacious and comprehensive serviced lounge facilities.

I stayed here during a business trip to Seoul and it is hard to find something to complain about. Great views, top notch clean, outstanding service and good vibe. Very well equipped rooms with everything one would need. Food was also great - will definitely come back.
