Beautifully presented room, comfortable bed and bedding, excellent breakfast options, staff were lovely and accommodating

It was perfect

Breakfast was very good and served during very flexible hours. Staff were very helpful, despite being exceptionally busy over the Christmas holiday. The cleaning staff were very helpful and all staff made us feel very welcome

We initially were booked into the attic rooms. These were pleasantly quirky - but not suitable for older people. After a bit of pressure, staff moved us to a much more suitable room - which was fine. It might be advisable to be clearer in promotional that this room has limited access. Also both rooms had very limited space for putting clothes.

This hotel chain has stylish décor, very comfortable beds, clean bed linen, large en-suite bathrooms, and good facilities.

Having stayed with this hotel chain many times and having thoroughly recommended it to others, unfortunately The Kings Arms did not meet the same housekeeping standards as other properties in this chain. While the bed linen, toilet, and sinks were clean, the rest of the room appeared not to have been cleaned for some time, which was disappointing. The windows were affected by visible black and white mould. With improved housekeeping, this venue could be as pleasant as the others in the chain.

The room was lovely. Great staff.

Unfortunately when we arrived in the room it was chilly but this was quickly remedied by your wonderful staff.
