B&B Hotel Stuttgart-City

Not far from the centre of Stuttgart. Competent staff. Budget hotel with no fuss.

Very noisy street outside. Impossible to sleep with open window. Bathroom very smelly. Cheap carpet smelly too.

Location: The hotel’s positive aspects were its proximity to the metro station, the safety of the surrounding area, and the presence of a forested area about 1.5 km away, which was nice for walking and exploring. Cleanliness: The hotel was reasonably clean. Facilities: We were allowed to leave our luggage at the reception for 2 days. Room: The bathroom had soap, shower gel, and towels. There was also a TV in the room. Staff: Ms. Elis at the reception was polite and very helpful, and we would like to thank her. We asked for the blanket to be changed, and she handled it immediately and solved the issue. Another helpful staff member was an Iranian gentleman. Unfortunately, we did not learn his name, but we asked him for help with something and he assisted us right away in a very kind manner. We would also like to thank him. This was especially appreciated because the female cleaning staff member on the 2nd floor was extremely rude and disturbing. The two staff members I mentioned quickly solved the issues she refused to help with. !! B&B Hotel is ideal for solo travelers and for those looking for a place to stay for 1–2 nights during their trip. I would recommend it for people staying alone or for short stays. However, I would not recommend it for long-term stays or for two people. !! There is also a street nearby with Turkish restaurants, so there are plenty of food options.

Staff: There was a lady working as a cleaner on the 2nd floor of the hotel, who I believe was German. She was extremely rude to guests. We tried to communicate with her politely twice, but she was never helpful and spoke in a rude manner while raising her voice. It was very obvious that she disliked her job, and unfortunately she reflected this attitude onto the hotel guests. In addition, on the first night our blanket was very dirty, but it had been folded inward in a way that almost seemed intended to hide the dirty part. This was clearly a hygiene issue. Thankfully, after we informed the reception, the blanket was replaced and the problem was resolved. However, this cleaning staff member should definitely be warned and improve her attitude and behavior, because she seriously damages the hotel’s image. Rooms: The rooms are also quite small, and if two people are staying, there is very limited space to move around. There is almost no room to open suitcases. There is no kettle or refrigerator in the room. The pillows felt as if they had almost no filling inside, which was unfortunately uncomfortable. The toilet paper in the bathroom was very thin and of poor quality. The reception is only open during certain hours, so it can be difficult to find a staff member when assistance is needed. Hotel Location: There is no supermarket very close to the hotel for quick shopping needs. The city center can be reached by metro. Areas that can be accessed within walking distance are limited.

Temizlik: Otelin temizliği kötü değildi. Olanaklar: Valizlerimizi 2 gün resepsiyona bırakmamıza izin verildi. Oda: Banyoda sabun, duş jeli, havlu vardı. Odada tv vardı. Görevliler: Resepsiyondaki Elis Hanım kibar ve yardımsever, kendisine teşekkür ediyoruz. Battaniyenin değiştirilmesini istedik hemen ilgilendi ve sorunu çözdü. Otelin yardımsever görevlilerinden biri de İranlı bir beyefendiydi. İsmini öğrenemedik ama kendisinden bir konuda yardım istedik. Hemen yardımcı oldu ve kibar davrandı. Ona da teşekkür ediyoruz. Çünkü 2. kattaki temizlik görevlisi kadın aşırı kaba ve rahatsız ediciydi. Onun yardım etmediği konulara, belirttiğim bu iki görevli hızlıca çözüm buldu. !! B&B otel tek kişi olanlar ve seyahatlerinde 1 veya 2 gece konaklayacak yer arayanlar için ideal. Yalnız kalacaklara ve kısa süre konaklayacaklara öneririm. Uzun süreli konaklamalar ve iki kişi için ise tavsiye etmem. !! Yakınında Türk restoranlarının olduğu bir sokak var. Görevliler: Otelin 2. katında temizlik görevlisi olan, sanırım Alman bir hanımefendi vardı. Müşterilere aşırı kaba davranıyordu. İki kez kendisiyle kibarca iletişim kurmaya çalıştık asla yardımcı olmadı ve sesini yükselterek kaba bir üslupla konuştu. İşini sevmeyerek yaptığı çok belli ve oteldeki konuklara bunu yansıtıyor. Ayrıca ilk gece battaniyemiz çok kirli olmasına rağmen battaniye içine doğru katlanarak adeta kirli kısmı gizlenmişti. Bu da bir temizlik zaafiyetiydi. Resepsiyona durumu iletince battaniye değiştirilerek sorun çözüldü neyse ki. Ancak bu temizlik görevlisi hanımefendi uyarılmalı, üslubunu ve davranışlarını düzeltmeli. Çünkü o kişi otelin imajını ciddi olarak zedeliyor. Odalar: Ayrıca otelde odalar küçük, iki kişi kalınıyorsa hareket alanı dar. Bavulları açacak alan yok neredeyse. Ketıl ve buzdolabı yok. Yastıkların içinde sanki hiç pamuk yok, rahatsız ediciydi maalesef. Banyodaki tuvalet kâğıtları çok ince ve kalitesiz. Resepsiyon sadece belli saatlerde açık, ihtiyaç olduğunda muhatap olacak görevli bulmak zor. Otelin konumu: Çok yakınında hemen gidilecek market yok. Merkeze metro ile gidilebiliyor.
