Caldera Cliff Illusion

Amazing staff here. Ella, Sophia and the gentlemen at the front desk were so helpful and generous. Ella helped us with so many things, including help us book excursions, and following up to make sure we arrived to our day trip locations safely etc. breakfast in the mornings was fantastic. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Caldera Cliff Illusion. It was exactly as pictured. Right in the heart of Thira. Safe location, close to restaurants, ice cream, shopping etc. Perfect view, delicious breakfast, very clean, and extremely helpful staff. Ella and Sophia made recommendations, had nice conversations with us and really made us feel safe and at home in a place far away from home. Do not hesitant to book. It was worth every penny!

We had the best time here. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. It’s close enough to the square to easily walk and far enough away for some peace and quiet once the sun goes down. The staff was absolutely amazing and made us feel special the whole time. The breakfast is unbelievable and room service excellent.

Love this property!! The views are amazing!! We booked this hotel on the recommendation of Sebastian from Greece Explained (Watch his videos!) This is a wonderful hotel. It’s a smaller hotel with only 9 rooms. We stayed in the executive suite and it was gorgeous! We had a private hot tub on our balcony with amazing views. Your stay includes a delicious breakfast that is delivered right to your room. We ate breakfast every morning at the table in our room looking out at the beautiful caldera view. This was by far my favorite hotel on our trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. (Sofia is the best!) If you rent a car parking is close by. Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel location is excellent. However we had a reservation that clearly stated caldera view but its caldera view was completely blocked by another unit and the ‘hot’ tub, not even warm. The water was cold. After our complaint, the owner said she will give me a free upgrade. But the upgraded unit is half of the size of my current unit. To be their credit, the view is perfect. However on the website that type of unit is only about 2/3 of price compare to the big unit I booked. If anyone care the view, do not book the unit with one king and 1 twin with 530 SQFT unless you have 3 people since that unit has worst view of entire hotel. Breakfast is very good. It was hot cooked and delivered to each room. This is only part that made me happy

The staff were amazing! Sofia at the front desk was always ready to help us. We were sad to say goodbye to her! Ergi was also so helpful. He came to find us when we were lost and was always quick to help if we needed anything. Our cleaning lady was also very kind, and the gentleman who brought our breakfast and did maintenance. Excellent staff!

What an amazing place! Sofia and her team are super friendly and were very helpful with anything that we needed. The location is perfect. Short walk to everything and still very private and quiet. The views from our room and hot tub were unreal. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! Thanks again!

Jacuzzi was cold most of the time we were there. We got to use it 1/5 times we stayed there but wasn’t a huge deal for us. The property is 30 second walk from downtown Fira which is where all the restaurants, nightlife and shopping is! The breakfast served each day was amazing and so much food I barely had to spend money on eating during the day! The views from the villa are unbelievable and beyond picture worthy, best stay in town for a reasonable price! I would definitely stay here again or at their sister hotel The staff was beyond accommodating and at your service any given moment. I hope we made a long lasting relationship with Caldera cliff illusions and we will be back again soon!

We stayed at Caldera Cliff illusions for 6 days and we had a blast. Sofia was very helpful all the time . Their services were great . They served a big breakfast everyday and the room was very clean .

Fantastic location and views! The pool was private and the breakfast was very plentiful and varied. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was strong, which we really appreciated with the heat wave.
