Caldera Cliff Illusion

The rooms, location, staff, and maintenance of the hotel were outstanding! What the hotel lacks in amenities, it makes up for in elegance and excellent service.

What a fantastic hotel! Amazing terraces with private hot tubs (we kept ours cold since it was 95° outside). Gorgeous sunset view from our terrace facing the caldera. Great free breakfast served daily … fruits, yogurt, pastry, spinach pie, eggs, waffle.. French press coffee. The staff is amazing and so helpful! Sofia is the greatest and very communicative and responsive for anything you need. Karim is the greatest right hand man helping with everything too! Great location. Just a 2 minute walk into Fira town with all the restaurants and bars and shops. Comfy bed. Everything was wonderful! We will definitely be back. Thank you Caldera Cliff Illusions!

I was a bit skeptical when booking this stay due to the lack of reviews but I am so happy that I booked with them. Everything was perfect from the room, to location and the staff is amazing. The gentleman who works there is super nice and helpful and so is Sofia. The breakfast is plenty and yummy. The rooms are a good size and quiet at night where you can get good sleep. I would definitely come back and stay here.

My husband and I stayed at Caldera Cliff Illusions not too long ago and we loved it! The place itself is so clean and has an amazing view! The sun sets closer to Oia but you can still get amazing skyline views from the hotel at sunset. It was amazing. The hot tubs came in handy during the night when the temperature was cooler, just make sure to ask to warm it with time, given that it takes a couple of hours. The breakfast included in our stay was extensive and presented beautifully at our table every morning. Kareem delivered our breakfast every morning and was super friendly. He also helped us with our bags on arrival and departure. He’s truly a gem. Our rooms were cleaned daily and any requests we had were fulfilled. Sofia was the best at accommodating any requests and was super friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of Santorini on arrival with recommendations on places to go to which definitely came in handy. We had a junior cave suite which was super cute, and all rooms come with their own hot tub. I will advise that the hot tub and tanning area is not super private for the junior cave suites, so it might be worth spending more money for another room if privacy is what you want. We arrived with another couple so it worked out just fine for us. The hotel is placed walking distance from the Main Street and market of Fira, so we walked to different dinner spots every night, it was great! We absolutely loved our stay here, and would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
