"Exceptional"

Perfect Hilton like mattresses - super comfy!. AC, own bath, nice rooms with cable TV. Super helpful reception, pool, super central with pick up for diving, and above all phantastic warm breakfast buffet, at least 7 daily changing dishes, fresh coffee with fresh milk a rarity in Indonesia, waffles donuts etc for the sweet tooth and super fresh papaya, pineapple, mango and water melon juices and their fruit!

"high standards, you get what you pay for"

The rooms had a very european feel, great if you had a couple of rough days in more adventurous places and just want some comfort. Food we ordered in the room was also good and very reasonably priced.

"The only good place in Bitung.."

Security service & front desk personal. ATM & mini-market next to the hotel. Food menu available.

I felt safe in this hotel whereas I did not feel safe at all in Bitung as a blonde white female. I attracted a lot of attention everywhere I went.. People stared & yelled at me & tried to touch me. Very unpleasant experience.. I love Indonesia, but Bitung was horrible. I met another European couple & they didn't leave their hotel for days because they felt the same..

The room was spacious and pretty clean. Good view of the mountain. The breakfast was very good.

The beds were on wheels so if you tried to sit up in bed, it slid away from the wall. There was a pool but not one you would want to use. There were no lounge chairs and most of the tables and chairs were occupied by men smoking… not very comfortable. The staff also tried to get us out of our room before check out so they could clean it.

Kind staff and good location

Mold in the shower and pool area dirty. Why does housekeeping turn on ALL lights and set the air conditioning at 17 degrees? This is an incredible waste of energy.

We received an upgrade and they allowed us to check in early

We were not allowed to eat food from outside the hotel outside the swimming pool area and if you go to breakfast too late say 830 then a lot of the food was finished.
