A large and comfortable room with everything you need. But a little lacking in sockets. The room is large and accommodates 3 people perfectly, we lived with great comfort

I would have preferred a busier location and I was personally disappointed that the cleaning was only done once( very strange

The room was very large. It was nice to have so much space.

This is a bare bones accommodation priced like a nice hotel. There is no breakfast, or even a bottle of water in your room, and you are allowed only two tiny thimble-size coffee pods per day - which make about 2 ounces of coffee each. If you want an extra pod you will be charged. If you forget to ask for your next day’s allotment of coffee, you will have none, because no one is there till after 8am. If you need a drink or food, the nearest convenience store is about 4-5 blocks away. The light in our entry way turned on by itself every few minutes the first night, keeping us awake until we figured out how to stop it - there is no one to ask for help at that time. There was a strong cigarette smoke smell in the first floor hallway that you have to walk through, but our room smelled fine.

Additional costs for use of futons. Could have been better to have washing machine and dryer in room.

The location was very convenient with the Gion District and Yasaka shrine just a 20min walk. 5min walk gets you to kamo river which is beautiful for a stroll at any time of the day or night. The room itself was very clean and a reasonable size. The hotel had a coin operated washing machine which was so handy. There was also a jug in the room which you can take to the first floor to fill with ice and water for free. Also a whole manga section. Free umbrellas to use if it rains and other amenities. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

The room is very big, the location is excellent, the bed is comfortable. The stuff is helpful.

The internal arrangement is sub-optimal. The different levels are nice but inconvenient, especially during the night. The remote of the air condition as well as other gadgets has only Japannieese explanations on the bottoms. The bathtub is small. There is not working desk on the room.
