Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak

The massage was perfect, Pa was very professional and understood exactly what I needed. I loved it and came 2 times during my stay.

Having not wanted to go to chain hotel we felt truly drawn in to the authenticity that the Grand Mercure offered. The rooms were spacious and beautiful each with its own private terrace. The staff have all been so welcoming, helpful and friendly especially Pam, Prince and Nok - who showed me how to make beautiful pandan leaf roses and gave me an amazing scrub and massage. Food has been amazing a true mix of Thai and western dishes with the themed buffets providing such a wonderful opportunity to taste anything you fancied. I’m going to miss my individually made omelette every morning and the choice of breakfast Thai curry for extra kick ! Double storey authentic looking buildings built around a collection of fish pools and swim up pools that are immaculately kept. As you walk down to the beach, the blue of the pool, the sound of the waves and the lure of the cocktails lures you in. We went with Luxury Escapes who were true to their mantra. It was Luxury in a relaxed, non stuffy and beautiful way. So good it deserves another visit sometime !
