Fuji Gran Villa - TOKI -

Our reservation was made through Booking.com for a group of 17 guests, including a 71-year-old elderly woman with a leg injury and limited mobility. We are extremely disappointed by the lack of assistance and compassion shown by the hotel staff during both check-in and check-out, particularly under severe weather conditions. Incident 1 – Check-in (2 June 2026) Upon arrival, our minibus was unable to access the hotel directly due to the narrow road leading to the property. It was raining heavily at the time. We politely requested assistance from the hotel and asked whether their shuttle van could transport our guests and luggage for the remaining distance of approximately 1 kilometer. Despite the presence of an elderly injured guest and unfavorable weather conditions, our request was refused. As a result, all 17 guests had to walk in the rain while carrying luggage along a road used by moving vehicles. This created an unnecessary safety risk and caused considerable difficulty, especially for the elderly member of our group. Incident 2 – Check-out (3 June 2026) The following morning, weather conditions became significantly worse due to a typhoon, with strong winds and heavy rain. Knowing that our elderly family member would face difficulty reaching the bus, we again approached the front desk and requested assistance. Unfortunately, the hotel staff refused to help. The elderly guest was therefore forced to walk through strong wind and heavy rain while carrying personal belongings. During this process, she nearly fell. We found this situation both dangerous and unacceptable.

De heerlijke bedden, warme bad, ruimte, dakterras met zicht op de mount fuji. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Op wandelafstand van het station maar je kon ook gebruik maken van de shuttle bus service die dagelijks reed.

We hadden graag een wasje willen doen, dit was helaas niet mogelijk. Ons probleem.

The meal options were very limited and did not cater to being vegetarian. Very vague on wording and what was to be delivered . Not labelled adequately . Excessive amount of packaging . 95% of what was paid for was not eaten and a waste of money . Had to drive out and find additional food for breakfast and dinner. Had to request that the bins were emptied to take the food away .

Big villa, nice amenities, exceptional view.

A bit hard to get to on foot as there are no pavements. A car or taxi is definitely recommended. There was also no washing machine onsite and we had to go to a laundromat.
