Sutton Staithe Hotel

breakfast was lovely and good value , staff were very friendly ,evening meal was also delicious , cannot fault this accomadation , i had read in other reviews that the rooms were cold, but this was not an issue for us , it was cold but a heater was provided

there was no blind on the bathroom window

Size of the room

No heating from radiators , pub restaurant shut. Not that clean on skirting boards and shower, shower could be hotter.

Food was fine, prices were reasonable

Beautiful location, helpful and friendly staff. Room was a good size with good facilities too

Good location for visiting the seals at Horsey Beach

The hotel seemed to be short staffed at the date of our visit (which was in low season), and this caused issues in accessing the public rooms both in the evening and at breakfast time

The whole experience! Hotel phoned during the day to confirm booking. Arrived and paid for our stay. Went up to the room and it was freezing cold and black mould on the ceilings. Went down to reception to ask when the heating gets turned on to be told the heating has been broken since the morning! Should have told us that when we checked in so we could have gone elsewhere! They gave us an electric heater but it didn't do anything, and no way could we sleep with it on overnight! Had to go down and complain again because we couldn't stay there with the cold. They agreed to put us up at their other hotel down the road, which we were grateful for. But think they should have organised that sooner rather than expecting us to stay in a freezing cold room.

Cold on arrival, staff never mentioned it . Got to room and had a blow heater for heating . Boiler broken apparently. But water was hot ! We complained and so did several guests and were moved to sister hotel up the road which is a lot better
