Breakfast was not served until 9am which is too late, really breakfast should be available from 7am

on a main road with with heavy traffic and ill fitting windows, uncomfortable stay

Lovely pub. Decor was tasteful. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was of a high standard. They allow pets.

On busy road

Die Straße war doch sehr laut, jedoch mussten wir aufgrund der Temperatur das Fenster offen lassen. Ein Kühlschrank wäre sehr gut gewesen.

Lady who checked me in was very welcoming, girl who was at breakfast not so much

Room needed painting, cup of tea very extensive had to pay extra for when buying breakfast

The premises and location are easy to find being alongside the main road, unfortunately a heat wave hit the UK resulting in record temperatures resulting in the room being over hot in particular overnight, opening the main window fully just resulted in problems throughout the night with passing traffic some of whom use the road as a race track causing excessive noise and disturbed sleep.

The advert advised that a cott was available but when requested the member of staff booking us in was reluctant to get a cot stating that it was difficult to set up, fortunately we had our own in the car and used that. In times of warm weather the upper floors and guest rooms of the property are uncomfortably hot.
