Somerset Sudirman Jakarta

This is my first time stay in somerset sudirman and the last stay in indonesia, suprisingly everything is beyond great start from the location of the hotel is great! And the lobby, i love the lobby its not crowded and the design is elegant. When i was check in Farhan/ reception helping me a lot as a first timer guest. Shout out to Farhan and other colleagues Riyan and Anya they welcome me as a professional hotelier yet i felt homey. The room is awesome and the very good thing is the cleanliness is great. I felt welcome as a guest here and will come back for sure!!

Kevin kusmadi from the lobby was exceptional in assisting and resolving issues during my stay. I had some issues with booking as well as local grab delivery and he was prompt, respectful and attentive in ensuring the problems were resolved without much fuss.

I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, but the room is smelly and dirty, it's like they let the room closed for so many months and never clean it, the bed have a lot of dust, every time I wake up my eyes swollen , also when we check in and check the refrigerator there's still some items there for i don't know how long, the worst part is the security staff are not helpful at all, at first we ask if we can park in front of the lobby (there's 3 parking space) they said we cannot park overnight but we can park for temporary, and we need to park like an hour because I have a friend want to send me some items that weigh 30kg so we will park there to delivered the items, but the security staff make it so hard for us just to park there, they do not want to help and do not care if we call them to open the cone, after we say it's fine if we park inside but my friend cannot get the card to enter the parking upstairs so we asked the security staff to bring the 30kg items to my car, and after we said that we can park in front of the lobby because of course they do not want to bring 30kg items right!! another things for customer we need to gave our id card overnight to the security staff in exchange for card parking inside, why should we left our id card overnight? there's still a lot of other alternative beside the important id card also ridiculous part is the position of shower in the bath area is so short (look picture)

The best thing was to meet Ms. Brigitta, the customer service manager at the check-in desk. She was super effective and fast to accommodate my request to change the room (due to some construction running beneath). She made it super fast and even upgraded me to 1 bedroom executive suite! My personal thank you for that high level of service, Brigitta! Both rooms I stayed, were in great condition, new, modern and very clean. It equipped with the kitchen, the washing machine and everything you need. My personal downside of the stay was the super hard mattress, which was difficult to sleep on. Also, the breakfast is very basic. But I believe this’s the way to make the nightly price so affordable.

My best hotel

This is one of the better affordably priced apart-hotel, newly furnished, friendly and attentive staff, fantastic view of the city. They even have a mini market in the apartment. What I like is the close proximity of the apartment to the nearby road where you can find some restaurants, food stalls, convenience stores at the bendungan hilir area.
