Quite dirty after leaving the outdated elevator . Needs a major makeover ! And a proper clean Good price but have stayed in better for less money .

The location was perfect to attend Venue Cymru. The staff were very helpful.

Cleaners need to check the cleanliness of everything in the room especially the facilities to make tea/coffee it was disgusting.

Location excellent for views, however it’s some distance from the main area/pier/shops. Ordinarily this would be fine as I enjoy a walk, but for those with mobility issues or needing to push a wheelchair it’s a challenge, so check out the location before booking Atmosphere was relaxing with helpful and friendly staff Mixed views on the rooms. Our double was large with a lovely bay window over looking the bay. Decor OK but a bit tatty in places ie, carpet stains, wood work chipped. Bed was excellent, full king size, extremely comfortable. Bedding was clean and fresh. Room was cold at times. Radiator not working, ( but we didn’t raise this with staff, as it appeared the heating was only on in main communal areas) Bathroom looked like it had recently been updated. Towel rack and heated rail not properly screwed to the wall. Towels looked clean but didn’t smell fresh. Second room was “tatty”, again carpet stains and chipped wood work. The en-suite was new. However when the toilet was flushed a strong smell of effluent filled the room. Room door didn’t always close properly. Both these repairs were reported to the staff, who assured us they would report them to maintenance NB - there is no fridge in room and food is not allowed to be brought in DISABLED ACCESS was appalling due to the following: No lift at the front of the property Main access was at the back of the hotel which is heavily littered, with disregarded brooms, buckets etc and loads of pigeon poo everywhere. Cigarette ash tray needed emptying. The paintwork was drab, in-fact the whole of the back entrance was scruffy messy and totally unwelcoming. To get into the building there was a makeshift ramp with a brick holding a narrow door open. The corridors are vey narrow with 6 doors to get through. The lift is very small, 2 people only. We only just managed to fit the wheelchair in. Please be aware this is the only lift in the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone needing wheelchair access. FOOD No evening meals ( except for pizza) Breakfast was poor, which surprised us as reviews were ok Limited choice. The display was sparse: 3/4 yogurts, 2/3 eggs, ( although you could ordered eggs). Bacon was greasy, and left too long so it was hard and dry. Fresh fruit was thinly cut and looked dry and pale Slices of processed cheese The smallest croissants I had ever seen Thin sliced bread and for some reason all condiments were packaged, even the salt and pepper! The sauce packets were so difficult to open The only positives about breakfast were the friendly staff, the view from the dining room and the coffee and orange juice Some of the above complaints could easily be addressed by cleaning up the outside. Installing some automatic doors Making condiments available on the table not in packets Providing a selection of breads Generally Improving the quality of food, menu and cooking

Accident location, very friendly staff, nice bar area and restaurant

It was good value for money we had a nice room well decorated but unfortunately the bathroom bathroom was very very tired. I could really do with an upgrade.

All the staff were wonderful from the receptionist to the maids
