No wifi in rooms. No shower facilities. Old but clean.

Bathroom was filthy with dust and in an overall grotty condition

Absolutely stinking of damp. Not only that but all my clothes and belongings have come home smelling of the damp from the room and I’ve had to throw a way a suitcase as a result.

Lovely stay, very old fashioned and charming.

Very friendly staff, helpful. Good knowledge of area in and around hotel for things to do and places to see, will definately be back

Poor Cleaning No dental kits in the rooms Cobwebs Moss Spiders in the toilet Dirty carpet I asked a member of staff for water and they told me they don’t supply water in the room. So apparently I was supposed to drink from the bathroom sink. I can write an essay about it but every guest was complaining about the same things. I do not believe there any health and safety checks here.

This hotel doesn’t not cater for business visitors ! Very limited menu options and it revolves around people on coach trips who were their priority! I won’t be returning there !

Hotel us outdated, not clean, smells of mould, cockroaches in tge room and other insects.

The rooms are in a very poor condition and are not kept clean. The first room I was allocated had extremely old decor and smelt of sewage and damp, I believe there was something wrong with the toilet and bath. I was given a second room, the bathroom wasn't much better, didn't smell as bad but still smelt of damp. This was as the bathroom was covered in dirt and mold, I didn't let the hotel know about this as they made me feel bad reporting that the first room was poor quality. So I went to the local shop and purchased some cleaning items and cleaned the whole bathroom. After cleaning the bathroom room I laid on the bed to watch a little tv, picking up the remote I found that it was covered in dirt and what looked like food, so again it was cleaned. When booking this hotel the rooms are advertised as if they are brand new, please note that this is note the case and after speaking to a lovely lady that worked there i was informed that only one of there room have been upgraded!! This place should be cleaner especially with Covid just passing, I feel for all the people that stayed here fir bus trips as it is below par. Even when walking the corridors and going into the stair area you can smell a really heavy smell of damp. I'm surprised people don't fall ill from it! Sorry for this review but the management need to get this hotel sorted!!

Nice location, beautiful nature. But very unfriendly staff, never felt welcoming there. Dirty room and broken window.
